Choosing The Right Yarn & Patterns
If you are creating chemo caps/beanies/hats for people going through chemotherapy, please be sure to use a yarn from our Approved Yarn List (PDF). We have spent over a decade working with people going through chemo and testing countless yarn brands and product lines to save you time and money -- and to ensure we provide the softest, most comfortable hats to people in need.
If you use a pattern for your Knots of Love submissions that you find elsewhere, that's great! Just please be sure the pattern is not a lacy one or see-through because most people experiencing treatment-induced hair loss do not want their skin to show through or be exposed to the elements.Ready to send your hats to us for distribution to hospitals, cancer treatment centers, and infusion centers?
